Today, June 3rd 2020 marks my 2 years serving and shepherding the family that meets in Ministry St, the Guam Christian Life Fellowship (GCLF). A Gospel-Centered, Love-Focused fellowship of believers who desire to know God more and His love for all His children so that we can extend that love to others. Lots of things happened in the past 2 years, one notable is this global pandemic that affected every person breathing on the earth. If there’s one thing I want to highlight in the 2-year existence of this body—is the constant reminder that the Gospel of Jesus Christ sustains us. What oxygen is to all living creature, the Gospel is to the life of GCLF. We live and breathe it. Without it, we might just as well pack our bags and close shop.
“Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.” – Eph. 4:13-16
The Gospel affects, influences and manifests itself in every area of our lives.
