Hey everyone! On behalf of GCLF, we’re excited to be a part of sending one of our young adults out for short-term mission work. MJ (Matthew) has been a gracious leader in our church, serving on the worship team as our bassist and vocalist, and in the young adults ministry, leading bible studies. We are so blessed to have MJ step out in faith and pursue missions off-island, sharing the Good News with the world.

Dear friends and family,

I pray you are doing well! I wanted to share an amazing opportunity that the Lord has given me. This summer I’ve been given the chance to serve the under-served in South Asia through the International Mission Board’s: Nehemiah Teams. The Lord has also granted me a leadership role in this mission trip, and I am continually reminded that true leadership comes from full submission to Him.

I will be traveling to Mentone, Alabama for training from June 1-9. From there, I will be sent out to South Asia from June 9-July 29. Afterwards, I will return back to Alabama for a full debrief of the trip from July 29-August 1, before finally heading back home to not only tell what the Lord had done over the summer, but to continue to serve in God’s Kingdom, fully obedient to the Lord. As I prepare for this trip, I’m reaching out to ask for your support. While I am the one going, I want to make clear that your support is not just for me, but for the mission of God…

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age”

The total cost of this trip is going to range from $5,500-$6,000. If you feel led to give, any contribution would mean so much to me! I also encourage you that giving isn’t the only way to help support me in this mission trip, but I would really appreciate your prayers as prayer is a powerful tool.
